With any necessary change, as things incrementally improve, the pushback from the enfranchised (men with all the unearned privilege) makes it seem as though things are getting worse.

It’s dust. The panicked braying and stomping is merely a smokescreen.

We’re breaking free from very old patriarchal norms. Asking of ourselves and each other to integrate our divine feminine and masculine, because there is no one without the other. This is integration at its best, the balance of the light and the darkness. There is balance and harmony buried inside all of the polarising lessons that you have had to overcome. The darkness is not a curse but a gift that taught you how to find your light. Learning to integrate both dark and light together to create balance in yourself and the world you inhabit.

There is harmony in breaking cages

You see the cage now as fragile, the bars rusting through and weakening. Even though you have the key, you are expanding so much that you will break those bars like being reborn. It’s time for you to integrate all that you have learned, not by deleting the past, but by revering what it has taught you. It’s time to emerge with the self-worth that has been nurtured through this process and let it change how you respond to and interact with the world around you.

You are not just here to create a better world for yourself. You integrating, forging a path ahead, clears away the dust for all of those you love and care about, for those who feel connected to you. The ripple of each of our pebbles helps create reform, change and progress towards a better life for us all. What is the path we dream of travelling? Unity. Equity. Harmony. Integration is not about denial of any stream of life, but finding those parts of others within ourselves.

I no longer subscribe to the idea that it’s too big and too hard for little ol’ me to have any impact. Watch an ant colony do their thing. Termites. Bees. Collaborative creatures are so successful in nature. If another female bee is born, the existing queen doesn’t kill it. The new female and a bunch of drones just head out to form their own hive. Imagine the chaos if it was a king bee…

Finding the harmony within

The vision of yourself that you have dreamed of and the purpose that you have been looking to step into are here. It’s now. You’ve spent so much time learning how to uncover it. She’s always been there; it just took feeling unwelcome, feeling like you don’t fit in, and feeling rejection after rejection simply for existing as a female to find it.

I want to remind you of something. You were never meant to fit inside that cage. It should never have been built. You should never have been indoctrinated into thinking it was safety.

Breaking free

You may not like that, but by breaking free, life works out so much better than you could ever have expected. Life has never simply been about logic, and we as women are not meant to live in a world designed to keep us trapped. We are the healers, the keepers of knowledge and the bringers of life. The momentum is building up behind us like a great wave to push us onto the sand. It will tumble us, turn us over, and throw us about until we feel like we can’t breathe, then it will dump us hard on the wet sand, gasping and heaving.

Or you can run forward and let the wave’s maelstrom crash behind you and just ride the forward wash to the soft sand instead. By not trying to do everything and burning yourself out, but integrating your worthiness and showing up with a sense of knowing and dignity, you emit a sense of respect for yourself and all you’ve overcome. It’s made you who you are.

Your confidence and charisma show joy and enthusiasm for all that you are. All that you bring to the world, in the fully integrated, harmonious you, is so necessary and such a light. Share it; help light the world.

Logic and wisdom may have gotten you here, but now it’s time to be the main character in your own story.

Burn what has ended. Honour it for teaching you that what you do is so much bigger than just yourself. Purpose is self fully being who you are.

Your brilliance is in your uniqueness. We have enough people trying to fit in, creating carbon copies of themselves. Your individual harmony of integrated light and dark, the divine masculine/feminine, is your value.

You are as worthy of love and recognition as you believe others are.

Most women feel the pull and start recognising that there is more but are frustrated by how long it can take. This starts inside and takes however long it needs to recognise oneself within the whole process. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Don’t minimise what you’ve overcome or what you’ve already come to know.

I heard this quote which really spoke to me –

‘This was a process of learning how to not have enough in order to understand the value of having it all.’

There is great value in harmony and integrating all of who you are and are meant to be. Shine on.
